Black Celeb Buzz
One of the best things about blogs, is this new breed of journalist that has emerged. Anyone with a little interest and insight can spread their news to the masses. I find this particularly interesting with respect to Black Entertainment. With alittle effort on, I've come up with a collection of Black Celebrity Blogs, for the fanatatic in all of us. Finally, a space where we can talk about our who's who, with out feeling like a handful of Black Celebrities get highlighted while the rest sit on the side lines. So if your looking for news about Black Celebrities, with a little gossip in between, check out Black Celebrity News and Gossip on Black People News.
New Black Movie Trailers Blog
In an effort to show our Black Films some love, I created the Black Movie Trailers Blog: a place to find and watch the latest movies that show case African American Actors and Actresses. Plus I've put together a list of links to find more information about Black Movies, film festivals, celebrities, and other forms of Black Media Entertainment.

Enter to win a Phat Girlz prize pack! The new film starring Mo’Nique as Jazmin Biltmore, is about a smart-mouthed aspiring fashion designer. PHAT GIRLZ is an edgy comedy about two frustrated plus-size women obsessed with their weight while struggling to find love and acceptance in a world full of "hot bodied" babes. The PHAT GIRLZ are thrown a major curve ball when they meet the men of their dreams in the most unexpected of ways... The movie hits theatres April 7, 2006.

Rize Movie Trailer
Rize is an amazing movie. Its a great look into the experiences of urban youth today. When I saw it, it brought out a mix of emotions; tears, laughter, anger the works. I had to watch it in Manhattan, which pissed me off. The local Brooklyn spots were not showing such a great film that more African Amercan youth and parents should have seen. Rent it or better yet buy it! Rize is worth it.
Hotel Rwanda
Hotel Rwanda is a great must see movie. In an eery way the events of Hurricane Katrina remind me of the horrors Blacks went through in Rwanda. In both instances, blacks were denied timely and quality aid because they were poor and publicly thought of as useless to anyone. It's sad that you have to be a commodity to command any form of worth in the eyes of the money hungery and powerful.
Black and Scene
Black and Scene is a new sister site to Black Scene, which will feature extra extra African Amerian video clips and trailers that are accessible to you at the click of a button! Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

The Original Black Scene Spot
Black Scene originally started on msoy online. The official site includes a growing directory of Black Median Links and information about Black Movies, trailers, television shows, cartoons, and animation. I figured a static website just wasn't going to be enough to contain all the new Black Media Content that pops up every day, hence the creation of the Black Scene Blog. Hopefully this place can live up to its name and become a key resource for African Americans who are interested in fiding audio and video content that reflect our interests and issues.
Choice Black Scene Features from the original site:
- African American Movie Trailers
- African American Television: Sitcoms and Dramas
- Watch Black Films Online
- Watch Black Films On the Go!
- African American Cartoons
